These Terms of Service govern access to and use of JobSeekerAI. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

JobSeekerAI provides job-search assistance tools, including Gmail-based job scanning, job-match analysis, resume tailoring, job chat, usage tracking, and an optional agent that can send routine recruiter communications with user authorization.

2. No Employment Guarantee

JobSeekerAI does not guarantee interviews, job offers, hiring outcomes, compensation, employer responses, or application success. AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete.

3. User Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of your resume, applications, and communications.
  • You are responsible for keeping agent preferences accurate and for monitoring communications sent through your account.
  • You must review AI-generated content before relying on it when the service asks for your input.
  • You must not use the service to misrepresent qualifications or violate rules.
  • You must maintain the security of your account and connected services.

4. Gmail and Third-Party Accounts

If you connect Gmail, you authorize JobSeekerAI to access Gmail data only as needed to provide enabled features. If you start the agent, you authorize it to send routine replies in recruiter conversations you choose for it to handle until you pause the agent or remove the conversation. Google and Stripe are governed by their own terms.

5. AI-Generated Content

AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a specific situation. The optional agent may send routine recruiter communications without prior review using the resume and preferences you provide. The service is designed to pause when user input or a higher-risk decision is required, but automated safeguards cannot eliminate every error.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid features may require an active subscription. Billing is processed through Stripe. Subscription terms, renewal timing, cancellation, and billing management are presented during checkout or in the billing portal.

7. Acceptable Use

  • Do not use the service for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or harmful purposes.
  • Do not attempt to bypass usage limits, billing requirements, or access controls.
  • Do not reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the service.
  • Do not upload malicious content or use the service to send spam.

8. Availability and Changes

The service may change, pause, or experience downtime. Features may be modified, limited, or discontinued as the product evolves.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobSeekerAI is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The service is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities or employment outcomes.
